Born in Osaka, Japan, Ritsuko has also lived in Honolulu and Boston before coming to New York in 2010.
Upon moving to New York she became fascinated with the intricate architecture and details that make every neighborhood in this city unique and unlike anywhere else in the world. This fascination led her to pursue a career in real estate and make the neighborhoods of this city her career.
Ritsuko has a strong interest in both modern and antique furniture. She loves to imagine how apartments will layout when furnished beautifully and helps her clients with suggestions on how to best outfit their apartments to make it their own.
Prior to her career in real estate, she worked at a travel agency for several years with a diverse client list ranging from families to celebrities. She coordinated luxury travel including villa rentals and executive transportation. Holding a management position at the Firm, she was responsible for the training and guidance of new agents. This experience helped her learn how to cater to the needs of busy New Yorkers for whom finding a new home can often be a stressful and time-consuming process.
When she is not working, she can be founding travelling all across the globe. Ritsuko has travelled to thirty countries so far, encompassing all continents and including New Zealand, Iceland and Middle East. She looks forward to continuing this trend until she reaches her goal of one hundred countries visited.
When she is not travelling or working, she can be found exploring all over Manhattan and Brooklyn looking for fine foods!

Ritsuko helped my fiance and I find our new apartment and was great the whole time. She knows the NYC market very well, and never pushed us to go outside of our budget but instead found the most for our money. If we ever had any issues she went above and beyond to make sure they were taken care of. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to rent or buy in Manhattan or the surrounding boroughs.

The reason I''m writing is to say how wonderful it was to have Ritsuko''s help in finding an apartment. She was able to show me a number of options in the East Village, the neighborhood that I have wanted to move back to. Ritsuko listened very well to my preferences. She was consistently well organized, always prompt and flexible with her time and mine, and a top notch professional. If I were to make another move in NYC, I would very much like to enlist Ritsuko''s assistance again.
